Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Bethany and I can’t wait to meet your fur baby! I’ve grown up with pets my whole life and have been taking care of them since I was about 10 years old. I have experience sitting both dogs and cats, from small pups to older dogs that might need more care, and enjoy my time with both of them. I’m currently available for dog/cat sitting (short term or long term) and walking. Im accepting to dogs and cats of all breeds, ages and sizes, and am familiar with bathing, teeth brushing, providing medication, walking dogs, cleaning litter boxes and providing food and water. I enjoy getting outside, as well as cozying up on the couch! So I’m all for cuddling with your pup or going on a nice walk/run. I also enjoy photography, so I’ll be sure to send you some nice pictures of the pup while I can get some! :)

Bethany has dog sat for my 1 year old German Shepherd multiple times and helps me feel so comfortable leaving him in her hands! He is a big dog with a lot of energy, but Bethany is always able to keep up with him during play time and help him relax when it’s time to. I know he adores her and sees her as one of his best friends by how excited he is to see her every time. She is also reliable and communicative to me during the day so I know he is in good hands. Bethany is by far Pelo’s favorite sitter :)

I currently live in a pet friendly apartment that’s directly across the street from a park, and down the street from the beach! This is a great opportunity for your dog to meet other dogs, get active and go for walks/runs. However, if you prefer that your dog stays away from other animals, I’ll be sure to keep that in mind and refrain from any confrontation. I also have a balcony off my apartment that faces the water, so your pet can enjoy the views and watching other pets/humans take a stroll in the park! *Please note that at this time, I do not have a crate in my apartment, but you are welcome to bring yours as needed!*

If your dog has any special needs, takes medication, or requires extra attention, please let me know in advance! I’d be happy to still watch your pup, just as long as you provide me the instructions and practices prior to dog sitting :) Also, if you aren’t comfortable with your dog going particular places or being around other humans/dogs, please let me know so that I’m aware. More importantly, if there’s anything that your dog LOVES to do, I’m open to hearing that as well! I want to make sure they get the best experience!
A typical day
Depending on your comfortability, I personally love taking dogs for a walk in the park across the street! We love to meet other dogs, go for runs and sit by the water. We also enjoy going for small hikes nearby, or visiting the beach down the street! On lazy days, we can cozy up on the couch, or just enjoy the simple life and go for a ride :)

Availability
I am currently working remotely until September 2021! Therefore, I will be available to pet sit during both the day while I work and night throughout the week. Im also available to make a quick trip for dog walking during my lunchbreak and after work if close by!
