We are a dog-loving, active couple with a large, fenced-in backyard and a lovable, even-tempered one-year-old dog, Charlie, a cat named Cake, and we recently had a baby who is now almost one. Charlie is a Cocker Spaniel/Golden Retriever mix (we think - he was a rescue, so we're not 100% sure!) and LOVES to play with other dogs (he can go for hours)! However, he will also take the hint if a dog would prefer to lay around (he's good at being lazy sometimes, too. ;) He is medium-sized and doesn't have any problems with food or toy aggression. He gets really excited when dogs come to visit! While we both work during the day, I work 5 minutes from the house and can come home at lunch to let the dogs out. Our schedules are offset a bit, so on most days, the dogs would be alone no more than 6-7 hours. On Wednesdays and Thursdays, they would usually be home alone no more than 4 hours We love opening our home to canine guests. We are looking for mellow dogs who get along well with dogs, cats, and kids.
