Hi! I'm Bethany, I'm a stay at home wife. I have 3 pets, 2 cats and 1 dog. I've had animals all my life, and it started with the "crazy cat lady" mom of mine. I've always grown up around cats at all stages of their lives. Then as a preteen, I got a dog, and that 1 dog led to getting a few more. I've tended to older dogs, puppies, kittens, older cats. I've had to give medicine to plenty of animals as well, whether it was the client's animals or my own. I love to make sure they feel as at home as possible though and try not to push engagement past their comfort levels. I really do love all pets. It's not always easy to leave your pets in someone else's care but I try to give updates as frequently as you'd like and photos as well. I love to just cuddle and care for them, but I'm super happy to play and walk them too. She dog sat overnight, and then she did a drop in as our plane was late. She was very flexible.

I try to stick to the pets routine as much as possible and try not to give them any more stress as having your owners gone for some pets can be super stressful. If they have a regular routine, when they're fed, how long you're home, how much they need to go out or be played with, I try to stick to that.

I just need to know how hyperactive and what your pets needs are. Are they walked regularly? Do they take medication? Are you constantly giving them attention or do they like to do their own thing and have them come up to me instead? These are things I try to account for when I go over to a new client's house.
A typical day
I love to play with the toys they have. I really love when I watch dogs and they love to play fetch, that's probably my favorite. I also try to make sure they're doing okay every so often, calling their name, petting them if they'll allow it or want it. I really just love big cuddle bugs who want to sit and watch something and be pet.

I'm currently just doing odd side jobs here and there, so my schedule is relatively free. I have a puppy I have to tend to more on certain days then others (when my fiance does not WFH) to let him out and play with him.
