Pet care experience
I have a lifetime of experience with pet care, starting with helping my mom run an in-home boarding business when I was growing up. I have a large fenced yard and do boarding, walks, bathing, light grooming, and more. I am comfortable giving meds, preparing special diets, and caring for puppies as well as seniors. I used to train and show dogs as well (pre kids, ha!). I can help get your puppy off on the right foot with house training, and baths are my specialty!

Her confidence and excellent communication were reassuring and timely and we appreciated her flexibility in terms of drop off and pick up times. She clearly has a deep understanding of dogs. Great walk and introduction with my pup.
Bethany was great-- she was flexible with drop off and pick up times, sent pictures of my pups having fun during their stay and made them feel right at home. My dogs came home happy and not too tired or too wound up. I think they loved it.
Cali had a blast at Bethany’s! She loved playing with her dogs and running around the backyard.

I have an 11 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who loves everyone to keep your dog(s) company, and may have another visitor or two. For safety, I separate dogs for feeding and if we’re out of the house, although my husband also works from home and it’s rare that no one is home. I can provide a large crate for your dog to use while visiting, and your dog must be able to be crated if no one is home. My fence is 39” tall, so I can’t keep dogs who jump fences. Guests also need to like other dogs and people, including children.

Let me know if your dog has any allergies or other special needs. Guests in our home must get along with other dogs, like people, and not jump fences. They must also be up to date on flea & tick prevention and the following vaccines: rabies, distemper, parvo, bordatella, and canine influenza. If your dog is not a good fit for boarding, I offer drop in visits and walks instead.
A typical day
Visitors at our home spend most of their time playing outside, as long as the weather is good. I can accommodate high energy dogs who like to play with each other and enjoy endless rounds of fetch (in my fenced in yard)! I also care for couch potatoes who would rather lounge in the sun on the deck or inside. My fence is 39” tall so I can’t board dogs who jump fences or gates.
