My review score is primarily based on my drop-off and pick-up experience, and that was well below my expectations of even average performance for a sitter. I've bumped up from 1 start to 2 stars to account for the fact that Bethanie appears to have done a satisfactory job of sitting my dog. To clarify regarding the drop-off and pick-up issues, Bethanie and I verbally agreed beforehand that I would drop off my dog at her house at "around noon." When I sent her a message 30 minutes beforehand to let her know I would arrive at 12:30pm, she replied "Um I went out rq can you come at 1," and said that it "slipped her mind." Ultimately, she arrived at 1:26pm, and I missed my flight as a result of having to wait for her. Additionally, the Rover booking includes a pick-up window, and when I messaged her to reiterate my approximate pick-up time, she asked if I could arrive 3 hours earlier because she had to go to work. I replied that I could not, because my flight wouldn't have landed by then. She intended to leave my dog at her home alone for 6 hours while she was at work, which is contrary to my expectation.

Bethanie is such a great sitter, I could tell nino had a wonderful time with her, she kept me up to date with his activities & sent me pictures. Will definitely have her sit again.
