Pet care experience
I have had dogs and cats in my family since I was 7. My mum has two large labradors and two cats who I looked after for two years while she was stuck abroad during the pandemic. They are back home with her now and I miss them terribly! I am good with dogs of all temperaments. I was badly bitten by a neighbours dog when I was 11, but it only increased my understanding and respect for them. I love a cuddle, but I know when to give a dog space, and have a good instinct for which dogs are happy to meet others. I am an actor with a freelance lifestyle. That means that my work days change around regularly, but if I am available to look after your pet I will be theirs all day! Pets are welcome on furniture (if you're happy with that behaviour). We live on a gated mews so your pet can play on the cobbles without being able to access the street. We live directly opposite Hyde Park for long walks and toilet breaks for those grass preferring pooches! Happy to learn from you and fit in with your usual routine and treatment. I'm definitely up for spoiling them but don't want them coming home to you with any bad habits!!

Bethan is an absolute star who treated my whippet/Greyhound like an absolute king for the day! I had to go into London for the day as a one off and have never used any dog sitting services before so was a bit apprehensive about using Rover at first. Bethan put me at ease straight away with her knowledge about dogs and previous experience in looking after other whippets. I received regular updates from Bethan and pics/videos of my dog having an absolute whale of a time! Bethan is extremely trustworthy and is clearly a massive dog lover who will take the best care of your doggie. Thanks so much Bethan!
My pooch has stayed with Bethan 5 or 6 times now. He loves it, and it’s evident that she loves it too. She is very good about updating me through the day, and being flexible with drop-off and pick up; she’s always very honest and straightforward about what the day holds for her and for my pooch if he’s with her. Today, for example, she has another dog staying. See forewarned me and Took sensible steps to introduce them in a good way and so they both had a great time! I really recommend Bethan!
As soon as we left Bethan's house yesterday, Gypsy told me she made a new best friend! I know she had a stellar day with Bethan what with all the belly rubs, cuddles, playtime and long walkies at Hyde Park. Gypsy was excited and comfortable from the second we walked in, and Bethan made her feel at home the whole day. The pupdates were also much appreciated! We already have another sitting scheduled and really would love to continue with Bethan whenever she is available. 12 stars out of 10!
Ebbe’s second stay with Bethan. Really fab. He seems very relaxed and happy with her. She took him for MASSIVE walk- which is so appreciated-& also played ball with him and also let him flake out on her sofa. He returns waggy and tired. She’s so nice and keeps me informed. Will be using regularly.

A typical day
Hyde Park is just over the road. If your dog likes playing with toys we will take some over and have a good runaround in the open spaces of the park. I’ll also be sure to walk them through the wooded areas for a good sniff!
