I love walking dogs and often find myself caring for other peoples pets for the pure joy of it. I have done professional dog walking/sitting with a company as well as a side job while working home health jobs. I have a good sense of how to communicate with animals so that we keep the peace and we all get taken care of. One of my proudest dog training moments was while walking my uppity terrier on my friends farm. All the rowdy and untrained farm dogs decided to join us. At least one of them had gotten into a tiff with my dog before but I managed to get them all to sit for me in a row and wait till I released them and they all got along after that. I find that I’m good with dogs that could considered reactive or nervous and seem to have an intrinsic knowledge of what they need to trust me.
