Animal-Loving Mom with Fenced Yard

Pet care experience

Hello, I’m Beth, and I’m thrilled to meet you and your pet! We are a prior Air Force family from North Carolina, but have planted our roots here in Houston. As a wife, mom of two kids and two dogs named Mugsy & Enzo, I am a very maternal, creative and fun caretaker. Beginning in college, I trained dogs through the SPCA and also fostered dogs in need. I have experience with many breeds, including Pembroke Welsh Corgis, Great Danes, German Shepherds, Dachshunds, Dobermans, Labradors, Golden Retrievers, mixes, as well as small breeds. I also a great deal of experience with cats, lizards and aquariums! I am a stay-at-home mom so my schedule is flexible and ready to suit your needs! I live in a smoke-free home located within a quiet and dog-friendly community, and with a fenced-in yard. Do you have a high-energy dog? No problem—I train for half-marathons and can keep up with the best of them, so your dog will always get the exercise he needs. My other family members also love animals; my husband grew up raising dogs as well as horses. Though I will be the main caregiver, there will always be an animal-enthusiast around ready to give your pup lots of attention. In my spare time, I enjoy art and design and every Saturday, I spend time coaching my kids in soccer. I love to send great pictures and thorough updates while your pet is in my care. I am very flexible with drop off and pick-up times, however in the event of pick-up being after 6pm, I will need to charge a day-care rate for that day. I prefer to host dogs that are comfortable being in a crate periodically. While the vast majority of their time will be spent freely roaming the home, I appreciate having the ability to place a dog in a crate should I need to step out to run an errand. This is to ensure the safety of both your pets and mine. I look forward to caring for your furry family member!

Beth was great! From the first day meeting her I knew she was the right one, she has a great personality. Beth communication was great. She updated me everytime she dropped in which made me so relieved. My dog Tiger can get separation anxiety when I leave where he won't eat for maybe the first day or two and Beth was able to take care of him through it all. She put his dog food in her hand to feed Tiger and he ate. I was so impressed when she told me she did that I believe that is showing that she truly cares. I will definitely be using Beth again!

One word: AMAZING ? Beth went above and beyond the expected tasks of checking in on my cats. Not only did she make sure they ate well and litter cleaned, she made sure my apartment remained as clean and orderly on her last visit as it was on her first. She was available anytime I had a request or a question and truly made a very difficult time in my life a lot less stressful. I am so very grateful for her help ❤️She will always be my goto for future kitty care.

Beth is SO AMAZING. This was my first time leaving my 3 month old puppy for a week & she made me feel sooo much better about having to be gone. Beth is so communicative & took the CUTEST pictures of our sweet boy!! Her kiddos loved him & he got along so well with their family dog, a corgi! I am so unbelievably thankful we came across her account and decided to go with them to care for our puppy. He made some new best friends & we will never be able to express our gratitude!!!! Thank you SO much Beth (and your kiddos) for giving Ranger so much love in your home ❤️
