Pet care experience
I grew up on a farm in Kansas, where we had a dozen dogs of various breeds, ages and temperaments. About half were family pets and the other half were bred and trained for bird hunting. I picked up on how to train dogs rather quickly. As an adult I’ve personally owned and trained a Shiba Inu and a German Shepherd, although I don’t have a pet at this time. I’m looking to add a dog to our family soon.

Beth took detailed instructions for the care of our elderly Basset Hound to make sure he was comfortable during his stay. She texted pictures and updates on how he was doing.
Beth was terrific. I had never left Kokomo with anyone but family. I liked Beth from the beginning. She was caring and loving with Kokomo. She gave me daily updates and sent pictures. The updates and pics made me feel like I picked the right person to take care of my pup. She and Kokomo did great. I will definitely use her again as needed. Thanks Beth!
Beth provided amazing care for our dog and was very flexible. I will be leaving our dog with her again on our next trip.

I have a fenced yard and no other dog or cat to take away my attention. I can crate your pet, if needed, or aid in training in other ways. When we have guests, we treat them like family and allow them on the furniture - unless you’re wanting to train them not to. In which case, we’ll also help!

I’m not experienced with dogs with special needs. I’m not opposed necessarily, depending on what is needed throughout the day. If there are any special instructions it would be helpful to have them written out beforehand.
A typical day
We’ll take walks to the park and drive the Jeep to the beach on days off. We can play fetch and have down time in the shade cooling off with a drink.

I’m currently working from home 3 days a week: M/W/F. I have plenty of time and flexibility to go for walks and take breaks as often as needed. I also have 2 older children: aged 11 and 15. They would love to play and keep your doggo entertained during these summer months.
