Home FT, fenced yard, 2.5 acres

Pet care experience

I've always had pets of my own or in my care; from my childhood golden retriever mix to the cats that have allowed me in "their" home, to working as a caretaker in a Georgia county animal shelter and fostering kittens, puppies, and adult dogs through Athens Canine Rescue, animals make me happy. . I'm comfortable taking care of dogs of all shapes, sizes, and needs, either in my house or yours. While I don't offer training, I have experience handling dogs with behavioral issues such as separation anxiety, fear aggression, and resource guarding, and am happy to accommodate your pet in whatever way he/she needs. I'm excited to host your pets in their home away from home. I work full time from home as a data analyst, so your companion will have constant daytime supervision. With about 1 full acre fenced in, my home is secluded, peaceful, and a super place for your friend to spend time. Just let me know what you want for your pet and I'm more than happy to accommodate; in my home, my pets come first!

Beth was absolutely wonderful with our dog Tilley. She sent us daily pictures and updates, so we knew Tilley was being loved on. Beth was also very accommodating with the drop-off/ pick-up times which was very helpful to us! I would highly recommend Beth to anyone looking for a caring, kind, responsible, and loving pet sitter! We would certainly book Tilley to stay with her again. 5 Stars (and 2 paws) way up for Beth!

She is awesome. She was very professional to care for Sarang. She sent us many photos and let us know how Sarang is doing in her house and in her beautiful backyard. Her two dogs, Bayla and Tessy, are very well-trained and friendly. We think our only dog, Sarang, learned how to socialize with other dogs from them. We can believe her and her wonderful dogs and of course, we will use her if needed in the future. Thank you, Beth!

Information Beth N. would like to know about your pet

Before your stay, be sure to let me know about the following: anything that worries your pet (e.g., thunderstorms, having his paws touched, etc.); your primary care veterinarian and their contact information; any medical conditions that could cause concern if not known in advance, regardless of severity (e.g., a healed torn ligament that sometimes causes limping).

A typical day

Your dog will have plenty of options when staying with me, be it exploring the backyard; going to nearby Etowah River, Heritage, Boling parks; walking in the woods behind Creekland Middle (next to where I keep my horse); or whatever other type of adventure you'd like. Just let me know what would make your pet happiest!
