Pet care experience
I am a retired nurse and would like the opportunity to give your dog competent loving care while you are away. I have had a variety of dogs throughout my life and our dogs have always been a member of our family. I will treat your pet with the same love and kindness and they will be a part of our family while in our care. Our last dog, Abby, was a sweet Rottweiler so I am comfortable with large dogs and can hold my own on walks. Sadly Abby passed away a year ago so if your dog is staying in our home they will have my undivided attention. I love to walk so no matter what season or weather your dog will get plenty of exercise, play time, and cuddle time whether they are staying at my home or you are utilizing my services for dog walking. I understand that all dogs come with their own set of routines and idiosyncrasies and I will accommodate whatever works best for your pet.

Beth watched our sweet 11 year old Lab who was two weeks out from surgery. She gave him lots of love and cuddles, she even did physical therapy with him. He had a great time! Thank you so much Beth!
Our pup Sammy just came home from an exciting weekend of lake life!! Beth was a joy to work with. Very accommodating and she sent updates with pictures of Sam's adventures throughout the weekend! Happy to say we have found our new pet sitter :)
Beth is a wonderful dog sitter! Our dog went for long walks every day, and got to snuggle with Beth and her husband during the day. When we went to pick our dog up, he ran to get in the car, then turned around to kiss Beth. We feel confident when he is there that he is safe and loved.
Beth was warm, kind and wonderful with my pup. She is truly a dog lover. I would recommend her wholeheartedly and hope to use her dog sitting services again! A lovely person.

I would prefer to have a meet and greet with your pet prior to having them in my care whether at my house or yours. I also want to mention that while we do not have children in our home, we have grandchildren between the ages of 10-1 visiting frequently so it would be important that our guests are children friendly.
A typical day
We have a large property on a lake with many nearby walking trails so there will be plenty of room for playtime and exercise.
