Reliable care, when you can't be there
Pet care experience
About Me I have always been able to connect with animals since I was little. Growing up, I've enjoyed caring for animals and learning more about them as individuals. I spent my years after school as a Nursery Nurse and when I finished studying childcare, I decided I wanted to use the skills and safeguarding I learnt to experience more care in pets. My passion for animal welfare is what gave me the motive to start Eclipse Pet Care. I saw the difference I could make being able to reassure owners that their pets were getting as much love and care as they were used to. Having the ability to make the time pets were away from their owners as stress-free as possible for them has been so rewarding. I completed a Diploma in Pet Sitting and Dog Walking and have had experience with many different breeds of dogs and cats. I also have experience with tortoises, rabbits, hamsters, chinchillas, degus, rats, hamsters, fish, birds, and will consider all types of small animals. Don't hesitate to get in touch. So if you're planning on going away on holiday, you can keep your pets in the comfort of their own home. If you're at work or away for any reason, I can check in on them, keep them company and make sure they have what they need. Dogs can make new friends with my small group walks or spend some one-to-one time on a solo walk with me. They will enjoy all the sights and smells in various local nature as I enjoy exploring as much as they do! Looking forward to meeting you and your pets! - Beth

Information Beth L. would like to know about your pet
It is very important that we can arrange a meet and greet prior to the first booking for all services so that we can ensure your pets and I are a good match and we can discuss all aspects of care. It is also beneficial to the pets that they have met me with you present, in a positive environment before I come to visit or take them out for a walk, to help them feel as comfortable as possible.
A typical day
Dog Walking: Group walks are great for your dog to socialise and play whilst they enjoy all the sights and smells. They would be in small groups of up to 4 (occasionally 5 if I decide manageable) exploring the local parks and woodlands. Your dog will be picked up in enough time before the walk start time and dropped back off after the duration of their walk. Your dog will be safely transported in the car using dog safety seat belts or a crate if preferred. During walks with your dog, we will create a bond and include basic training and recall. Off-lead walks will then only be done with your written consent if you would like them to have off-lead time. I do my best to clean your dog as the best I can before they go back into the house and l will send you a message to say they're back home safely, to put your mind at ease. I love taking lots of photos during walks, so you can look forward to seeing what your dogs have been up to. Does your dog prefer a bit more space or just needs more one-on-one attention? No problem, Solo walks are available Monday-Friday subject to availability Dog Sitting: Dogs can stay in the comfort of their own home with everything they need when they need it along with one-to-one attention, preventing chances of separation anxiety and potential fears of kennel environments. You'll be able to relax whilst you're away knowing that your dogs are receiving the same amount of care you usually give them. Dog Sitting includes: Feeding Medication administering Basic grooming needs Playing Up to 2x 1hr Dog Walks per day And any other typical care needs Your house is also secure whilst you're away as an added bonus and you will receive regular photo updates to reassure you. I'll also be more than happy to water the plants, bring in the post and take the bins out etc upon your request. Dog Sitting during weekdays - For dogs who are used to their owners being at work/away during the day. Your dog must be used to being alone for at least 4hrs absence at one time. They will not be left alone for longer than you believe they are comfortable. I stay in your home overnight each night for the duration of the booking. Your dogs will be walked each morning and evening and I will check in on them half way through my absence to let them have a toilet break and some fuss. This is to allow me to continue my regular dog walking service during the daytime. If there is space available and your dog is friendly with other dogs I will consider taking them with me during the daytime for one or both of their walks (this will depend on the circumstances of each day e.g. if they are a good match with the particular dogs on each walk) - I always like to do this if possible to minimise the times they are left alone and so that they can have as much fun as possible during their time spent with me! In the evenings and mornings I will be spending my time with your dogs at their own home, plus some time in the day for their toilet break etc. Weekends - Weekly dog walking bookings are not generally available on weekends, so weekend bookings are one-to-one with me and your dogs, with the occasional other dog walking booking. My absence is generally limited to the possibility of cat/small animal visit bookings, getting groceries or emergencies. Most of my time is spent with your dog and they are not alone as much as they may have spent during the weekdays. Check-ins and Feeding Visits: Ensures your pets get the care they need when you can't be there to keep them company and in their usual routine. May include: Feeding Cleaning litter/toilet breaks Medication administration and plenty of fuss! Whether you're going to be away or need me to pop in whilst you're at work... whatever the reason I'm here to help! Available 7 days a week.
