I have owned dogs, cats, and other animals since I was 6 years old. When I was a young girl, I brought home stray dogs and cats and worked hard to find them homes. As an adult, I would adopt older dogs from the animal shelter so that their final years would be comfortable and happy. It is hard on my heart when they pass away, but I hate that they have to live their final days in a shelter. I am 60 and retired. My husband will retire in a year or two so he doesn't want me to adopt any more dogs. He wants to travel when he retires. I'm down to 2 dogs now. Luie just turned 12 and Zoie will be 12 in October. Zoie was adopted from a breeder and Luie was a rescue. We go to the dog park almost every day and hang out with both big dogs and small dogs. My friends and family call me when they need someone to watch their dogs. I'm always happiest when I'm around dogs. I will love and care for your pets as if they were mine. I am retired and my time is very flexible. My husband works from home and I am home most of the time. I am available all week and all days. My dogs get along with all dogs. We go to the dog park daily which is near my home. We also take walks around my block daily. My husband works from home and loves dogs.
