Pet care experience
A lifelong animal lover and pet owner, I began my pet caretaking journey in 2011 when I was living and working in Ankara, Turkey. Wanting to help with the overwhelming stray animal population, I joined a local rescue group and fostered cats and dogs in my home. Several years later, after relocating to Baltimore, MD, I enjoyed doing petsitting for friends and colleagues from time to time. Since August of 2021, I've lived in Chesapeake Beach, MD. In addition to being an educator and an artist, one of my favorite activities is spending time with animals. I volunteer regularly at an animal shelter in Prince Frederick, MD, where I've learned a great deal about dog handling and behavior modification. I'm fortunate to have a close-knit community of loved ones, and petsitting for them has truly brought me so much joy. Currently, I own one pet: I adopted my rescue cat, Sir Calgary Archibald, in 2020. He is my very sweet (if slightly mischievous) fur-son, and he is wonderful company.

Absolutely hope to use Beth again for my doggos Gonzo and Charlie. Beth took both dogs on a 1 hour walk through the ACLT for me while I was out of town so that they got some good fresh air and burned some energy. She was super communicative with pictures and updates. Gonzo is reactive and so it can be a big challenge walking the two dogs at once, but she managed like a pro. I knew they were safe and having fun with her, which is all a dog mom could ask for. Thank you Beth!!!!
Beth took such special care of our girls. Her attention to each of them showed as my senior pup and young puppy both received a personalized level of attention and care. My senior dog has warmed up to Beth and gets excited to see her when she comes to care for them! I always know my girls are well cared for with Beth.

I’m so glad to have found Beth & had the amazing experience of her watching my animals while I was away (I had such peace of mind knowing she was there with them while I couldn’t be). If I'll be walking your dog, please let me know whether it is safe for your dog to interact with adults, children, and other dogs. Lastly, please make sure that your pet's veterinarian info and emergency contact info are readily accessible.
A typical day
For drop-in visits, I'm happy to provide playtime (indoor and/or outdoor), potty breaks, cuddles, feedings, meds, clean-up, etc. Just let me know what your pet needs. For dog-walking, I can take your dog(s) around your neighborhood, and I can follow a specific route if you'd like. Alternatively, depending on your location, I can walk your dog at a nearby public trail/park within walking distance of your home (such as the North Beach boardwalk). I'm happy to send photos of your pet so that you feel at ease. :-)
