[new Rover user! building client base; flexible rates] I’ve taken care of friends’ and families’ pups ever since I was a kid and also was lucky to always have a dog growing up. I’ve found that dogs are naturally drawn to me - and good thing (!) because to me dogs are the greatest gift on earth.

Beth house sat for us to help take care of our adult cat and our 4-5mo recently adopted puppy. She was easy in setting up a time for a meet and greet to make sure it was a good fit- and it was! Our animals, especially our puppy, warmed up to Beth immediately. We were nervous about leaving a younger puppy at home, but Beth did a really wonderful job. She was kind, caring, yet willing to make sure our puppy behaved by not jumping on furniture, chewing up anything and everything, and having taking her out frequently to avoid accidents. When we returned home, our apartment was in great shape- she took good care of our pets and our home! We wouldn't hesitate to use Beth again in the future, and we would definitely recommend Beth to anyone looking for pet care.
Beth has been an awesome companion to our senior dog, Chopper. They have become fast friends and he loves her visits. I appreciate how friendly, punctual and communicative she is. It was a no-brainer to trust Beth with our fur child. I am very much looking forward to booking her for all of our needs- walks, check-ins and overnight stays. I highly recommend her.

A typical day
Friends know they can find me somewhere in Central Park or Riverside Park most of the day. I love making pets feel like they are the “star of the show” on their walks, whether that means running around with them, providing lots of extra TLC time, or just letting them get the exercise they need!

Availability
I’m currently a graduate student at Columbia’s Teachers College, so I like to schedule services during “study breaks” - after all, the best mental break is to play around w a doggie or take a walk in one of the beautiful parks of the UWS. These breaks tend to be in the early morning and around lunchtime, although I am always available for lodging and at-home care if WiFi is accessible.
