Pet care experience
I’ve been dog sitting, walking and providing day care regularly on Rover since August 2022 and have gained lots of experience with lots of different dogs specifically lots of rescues and nervous dogs, as well as puppies. My family have had several cavapoos growing up and when I was at university I volunteered as a dog walker at a shelter (Friends for the Dogs Wales). Please note I no longer offer boarding or day care services at my house as I am now living with my parents and their dog finds other dogs in his house stressful.

Beth was fantastic with my puppy, who took to her immediately, which put my mind at ease about leaving her with a sitter for the first time. She took the time to come and meet Sylvie beforehand and to understand her schedule (including my very lengthy notes!), kept me updated with photos and videos - and even taught her some new tricks! Beth clearly understands dogs and will definitely be my next port of call next time I’m in need of a sitter.
We are very grateful to Beth for looking after our 6.5 month old whippet puppy Bart. He can be super energetic but she understood how to tire him out and get him settled for the evening. We came home to a puppy snoozing happily!
Beth did a day of pet sitting elderly Lola which worked well. All quite last minute and was super flexible if plans had changed. Also reliable and trustworthy. Lola was looked after well.
I'm thrilled to give Beth a glowing 5-star review! She took excellent care of our furry friends, Willow and Bella. I will not leave your dog alone and I will provide lots of attention! I will walk them everyday during my lunch hour and let them in the garden every 1-2 hours during the working day. Please note I do not take dogs I look after off the lead! It’s for the dogs safety as I do not know how good your dog’s recall is or if they would come back for me :)

A typical day
I try and vary daily activities when I am dog sitting but I love taking dogs to Richmond park, playing outside, working from home with dogs on my lap or introducing dogs to some of my friends! If the owner and dog is comfortable I also can take dogs to socialise with other dogs belonging to my friends or family.

I work from home so am available to look after a dog in my home or at someone else’s. I am flexible with my weekend arrangements.
