Dog Lover & Active Lifestyle

Pet care experience

I am comfortable with every phase of a dog’s life cycle from birth to end of life and all the wonderful years in between. I’ve raised puppies and adopted older dogs and I know the importance of keeping dogs fit and happy their whole life.

Beth was immediately such a warm and kind person when I met her to drop off my dog. I knew right away my dog would be in good hands. She updated me daily and sent photos of all the adventures she took my Boston Terrier on. Will absolutely book with her again!

Logistically this trip was convoluted to say the least! Beth handled it all with aplomb! Dogs were happy - they get lots of walks there which they love. This is their 2nd stay with Beth and would not hesitate to book another stay. I appreciate her flexibility in handling my dogs’ drop off and pick up

Beth and Neal were beyond wonderful watching our dog Molly while we were away on a trip for a long weekend. They took her hiking, sent daily pictures and updates, and I know Molly loved every minute of her time with them. Highly recommend. Thank you both so much!

Pets will find a loving home with access to plenty of outdoor activities and “rules” adhered to as requested by the owner. Plenty of time to walk at a leisurely or brisk pace. Your dog will be part of our life while staying. It is my hope your dog considers our home an extension of your home.

Information Beth B. would like to know about your pet

Its important for me to know how your dog became part of your life. Is your dog friendly with other dogs and small children? Any history of biting? Does your dog have separation anxiety?

A typical day

It’s important for me to understand your dog’s lifestyle. Dogs need plenty of time outdoors exploring whether it’s a leisurely stroll with plenty of time to “smell the roses”, or a brisker walk to help tire them out. For the more active dogs who love to fetch even after a long walk, we’ll that’s just fine with me. I live close to the Metropark and the CVNP so there are no shortage of trails to explore.

Availability

I love the outdoors, recently retired, and working remotely part time. I’m available most weekdays and some weekends. I welcome all dogs, young and old. Would welcome your dog to join me in any of the outdoor activities frequented by other humans and dogs, but understand the need for some dogs to have limited exposure to other animals.
