Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of cats dogs of every kind since I was 6. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and babysit their pets. I grew up in minnesota and started my "dog walking business" in third grade, since we only had cats, and I always wanted a dog! I also grew up volunteering at the humane society walking dogs each weekend all through high school. I got my 1st dog in November 2006, Hurley passed 9/23/2021 at the age of 15. She was my lifeline and heart and soul, and had a beautiful and adventurous life, and a peaceful passing at home. I miss her every second as she was by my side for 15 years- but surrounding myself with dogs and animals, gives me the outlet for all of the love I have to give! I will shower your furbaby with snuggles and walks and play dates! My second rescue, Nikita, is now 3, and LOVES to romp and play with dogs of all shapes and sizes! She adores cats. And kittens too! I am home full-time, and my days consist of hiking and dog parking and lots of snuggles and walks! I would love to host, walk, visit, and love your pups (or other animals! I do love bunny’s! ❤️) while you are away, or at work! Looking forward to meeting you and your animal babes! I am home full-time, working on writing a book, and your furbabies will be well taken care of and loved! I can also do house sits, or daily walks or visits! My schedule is super flexible, and I love the outdoors! lotsa walks and play time! I live in the middle of a ton of parks, walkable to wallace off leash dogpark, which Nikita and I go to every morning and evening! I have a walk fenced yard as well, if they like to lay in the sunshine! Nikita will also keep your furbabies entertained and playful all day! Wrestle, tug of war, cuddle, treat toys (we have buckets of toys!) Nikita has never been crated, but I can crate your pup if needed!

Both of us love cats so much, but I don’t have the space right now to have our own, so it’s extra special when we get to kitty sit! Looking forward to meeting you and your fur babies! Nikita has never been crated or kenneled, as she does most things with me but otherwise just likes to catch a nap on her bed or by the window if I am out and about. But if your dog needs crating I can help with that as well! I am a freelance artist who works from home, So your pets will be in the best hands, and get plenty of playtime, walks and cuddles!

Let me know if your dog has any special needs- I’m a pro at senior dog care as well, as for the end of Hurleys time she was in senior diapers- so I can do it all! And I’ve trained Nikita since rescuing her at 8 weeks, and have had the year traveling and road tripping with both dogs- so I must say- I’m a good dog trainer! It’s all about patience, time, snuggles and love (and good treats! Haha). But I think most of all it is understanding, kindness, and knowing we are all equals in the world. Looking forward to meeting you!
A typical day
Snuggles, walks, off leash parks or a hike (if your dog likes them!) lots off mental and physical playtime! Nikita will play for hours when we are dogsitting, but she’s also down to just snuggle with her pup and kitty pals!

I’m currently working as a freelance artist, and work from home, so your animals and house will be well taken care of! I live in Hood River, Oregon, but I am also flexible to come stay and house and pet/animal sit at your place anywhere in the Columbia Gorge for short or extended stays, as long as it is okay to bring Nikita with me- we work together to keep your animals safe, loved and well exercised with lots of walks and playtime!
