A typical day

I have two female dogs Keeva is a Jack Russell terrier mix and Cinnamon is a Lab mix. I love taking them for scenic drives to Starbucks for Puppuccinos before heading out and afterwards from Play dates/days. I like to take them to Lady Bird Lake, Barton Springs Dog Park and Greenbelt Bull Creek in Austin, The 5Mile Dam it’s absolutely beautiful and John Stokes Park in San Marcos, Cypress Bin Park in New Braunfels. All the parks listed above are open area parks for humans and dogs with lakes and rivers running throughout the parks with areas for the dogs to swim and play in shallow and deep waters if your dog loves swimming like mine. These parks are also absolutely beautiful just breath taking to just sit and be in nature and let the dogs run freely and feel wild and alive making new dog friends. I am born and raised in San Antonio but not fond of the city’s lack of dog parks and dog parks with waterfalls/waterfronts my babies love to swim run and play ALL day. I recently found few parks I liked City of Bandera and Mc Allister Dog Park in San Antonio (Sidenote: I’m always open to finding more local dog parks.) On chill days where we don’t leave SA I take the girls out for walks/runs at my neighborhood YMCA which is within Pitman Sullivan park (Wide grassland with runners grass/gravel track). I also have a huge back yard so with it being summer with my little dog hippos they have a plastic kiddie pool to play in and big space to run circles around the yard while I sit n’ watch them play to the tunes of Pandora/Spotify. On bad weather days stuck in the house it’s a Doggie Spa Day so a timed play day in the rain because mud is inevitable then back inside for a pampered bathing experience with lavender-rosemary mint bath bomb (diy made to keep from harmful chemicals). The girls also get a nice nail trim and a good body scrub (like a belly rub from nose to paw). Next I make their favorites foods (Cut up bell peppers carrots and apples pears n’ peaches tossed in a little coconut oil for a fruit salad with DIY Peanutbutter Banana Oatmeal muffins to snack on & to drink frozen all natural Beef/Chicken water based broth mixed with Apple Cider Vinegar Popsicles ) & I pop in a movie for a Lil Doggie Netflix n’ Paws vibes where we binge watch ALL our favorite dog and animal movies like Lion King & 101 Dalmatians. Also ima lover and my dogs are too so they love to cuddle with me and other people or dogs anywhere whether in bed or on the floor they love the love.
