Pet care experience
For the past 30 years, I have owned a variety of dogs typically on the medium to large size dogs. I have experienced all stages of life with my dogs from puppyhood to senior dogs. Dealing with senior dogs, I had to dispense medications and deal with the ordeal of surgeries. We even did swim therapy with our dogs. I currently do not have dogs; however, I am helping to train a family member's puppy.

Bernice is awesome!! She is super friendly and communicative. I love that she sends me videos and picture updates of Ella in training. I’ve never left my dog with anyone because I would never want anything to happen to Ella. Bernice was so patience, genuine, kind, and responsive. Ella was with her for 5 days I had gotten extremely sick and couldn’t care for my dogs and children because I was so weak from being ill. She is literally heaven sent if it wasn’t for her taking Ella I don’t think I could’ve made it through this illness. And the fact that she would send me pictures and videos the entire time without me having to ask just assured me that my fur baby was safe. And even though I wasn’t really texting or using my phone because I was trying to recover it was nice to see that I had messages from her whenever I did pick it up. I would 1000% recommend Bernice especially if you love your fur baby and want to make sure they’re with someone you can trust. I will never leave my dog with anyone else but her, she goes above and beyond.

I have a fenced yard, and I have a pool which is fenced in a different part of the yard that the dogs cannot access. I have a huge lawn and deck area plenty of room to play and roam. I transport dogs in my van, which has a crate to provide security and safety for your dogs. Currently, I do not have dogs or any pets of my own at this time. If your dog requires being crated this is fine. I also have plenty of baby gates if dogs need to be separated.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors I can account for. Also, any special diets and/or treats that can or cannot be given to them. My preference is for breeds that do not have a great deal of medical issues.
A typical day
I enjoy training or playing with dogs to help with mental stimulation/exercise. I have a number of dog puzzles for mental exercise; I have agility equipment for fun exercise; walking the neighborhood and hikes, at nearby trails, is always fun. There is a nice dog park five minutes from my house, which will be great for socialization. I also have a pool that they can swim in, but I require the dogs to wear life jackets.

Availability
I am retired and work-part-time usually swing shifts. I typically have the day hours and weekends available for dog sitting, dog walking and boarding. My hours can be flexible.
