I have owned dogs, cats and turtles since childhood and love animals. I love to spend time with my grand-dog and will take care of your pets like my own. I live across the street from Prospect Park in Brooklyn and love taking my grand-dog on long walks there. This is our third time using Bernard. He is great, and we feel super comfortable whenever he is watching our pup. He always takes her on long walks/hikes in the park, so she gets plenty of outside time. 👍
Barney was great with my dog Theo. He took good care of him and really helped us out when we needed a dog sitter. My dog has separation anxiety but he was comfortable at Barney’s and I would definitely recommend him and would book with him again.

I look forward to getting to know your pet, and I'm happy to accommodate any preferences they may have. It's helpful for me to know when they like to be fed and taken out for bathroom breaks, whether you would prefer that they be crated if I have to step out, and whether they get along with other dogs we might encounter on our walks.
A typical day
I love taking long walks with my clients' dogs in Prospect Park and exploring the neighborhood. I also like to play tug of war or fetch with smaller clients in my apartment and taking some quality naps on the couch.
