I've not yet encountered a dog that didn't like me! I've had dogs since I was 6 - a shih-tzu, a poodle, and a Great Dane mix. I’ve walked and boarded dogs since my teens and I’m comfortable with pups of any size! I adopted a sweet pittie mix in August 2018 (he gets along with puppies and small and medium breeds; as for big dogs...it depends!). Before taking care of someone else's dog, I always ask for specific rules and details - what the dog can't or can't do (is he/she allowed to be on a bed, furniture, etc.), the dog's diet, medical history, behavior with children, strangers, and other dogs, etc. It's always great to be aware of these things so I can better take care of your pets and know how to handle issues if (hopefully never) they arise.
