Pet care experience
with 15 years experience of working for a pet retailer, my knowledge and passion extends far beyond cat cuddles. With small animals, cats, dogs and fish, my knowledge is extensive and along with it comes confidence. I worked previously as a dog groomer, so I have experience with a variety of sizes, breeds and temperament. I am Pet First Aid trained.

Bernie is so lovely. Our dog loves her and our cat that never purrs actually purred at her! She pops in on our dog while we’re out for extended periods and we know she gets a good run around and lots of cuddles! Bernie is such a lovely lady who clearly loves animals and is very knowledgable too. Highly recommended by us!
Bernie looked after my 2 cats while I was on holiday. I was worried about leaving them as I have never left them for that long before. After meeting Bernie and my cats meeting her before I went away I didn’t have any worries. I loved receiving the videos off them while I was away! I would recommend without hesitation! What can I say? Bernie is just the absolute perfect pet sitter. I have a house full and trust her 100% to look after my full menagerie which consists of fish, cats, rodents and reptiles (and not so long ago a dog) Bernie is considerate and caring and thorough and my animals love her, they know they’re in good hands when she’s looking after them. She’s also very reliable, reasonable priced and always keeps me up to date with photos and messages when I’m away.
Bernie looked after my rescue cat Theo while I was away. She answered all my questions and put me completely at ease; Bernie is both friendly and professional. Best of all, my nervous rescue cat LOVED her! He now gets excited when she visits, and by the welcome I get when I return home, Theo has had a wonderful time! I can't recommend Bernie enough.

I pet sit/dog walk full time so therefore manage my own workload to fit around home life. Early starts and busy days are a norm for me 😊
