Originally from a farm in Missouri, I grew up communing with animals, caring for them and studying the way they communicate and respond to people. I have now been in New York for over 3 years, working at a dog-friendly bar in SoHo all 3, curating a safe and fun space for dogs. There I have seen every kind of dog and am adept at recognizing the intricacies and quirks of each breed, there is no dog too large or too small, too stubborn or too shy that I won’t be able to figure out and treat the way they want to be treated. I have a fenced backyard that is well maintained and clean, a large 4 room apartment made dog-safe, and a loving rover certified girlfriend who I live with to back me up. I’m young and very physically active, if your dog loves to run or play I can keep up as long as it wants, but love to chill and rub a belly or scratch behind an ear all day as well if you have a professional snoozer. I live in Hunters point by the waterfront, one of New York’s most dog-populated areas, and can give an extensive doggy tour of the dog parks, or down quiet paths along the waterfront away from other dogs if requested. I truly love dogs, and it would be my pleasure to meet and take care of yours.
