Pet care experience
Hello!! My name is Bently, and I’ve been pet sitting since 2014 for families with cats and dogs of all sizes. As a college student, pet sitting is the best because it provides me with some extra funds; however, I primarily pet sit to make up for all the fluffs I can’t own. Caring for animals is one of my biggest passions. It’s also a form of therapy for me. I enjoy training small pups, snuggling with all, and walking till both me and the pets are pooped. When I’m not away at school, I’m at home with two sweet dogs. One Labrador, Diesel, and a Great Pyrenees Lab mix, Hammy. Both are sweet as can be.

Can’t say enough amazing things about Bently!! We are so lucky to have found such an amazing sitter for our sweet lab and spunky cat. It’s the best feeling knowing our babies are in such good hands under her care. We love Bently!!!!
Bently was extremely communicative while we were out of town. She willingly administered a topical medication when we realized last minute that our dog needed it. She also happily dropped our dog off for an impromptu play date with neighbors when we asked (once again, last minute)! We will absolutely rebook with Bently. We loved her!
Bently is the best!
Bently has kept my aging cats, at my home several times, and has done an excellent job. She updates me while I am away, which just adds another level of confidence in their care. She goes twice a day to feed them and gets the mail or waters plants while she is there. She's so responsible and super sweet! My cats give her a solid "10"!!!

I’d love to know animals eating habits, potty preferences, temperament, and favorite place to get scratches. Also, I love to know pet nicknames!! And specific or quirky commands they may respond to :) An example: I’ve watched a dog that would only go to the bathroom after I told them to go “pookiedoo.”
A typical day
For dogs, walking, perhaps a trip to the dog park, a good car ride, and cuddles are included in a typical day. For younger dogs some training may even be administered:) I love watching pups grow and learn. They’re so very intelligent. For cats and other animals, quality time will be had. I love to write and play music. Having an animal by my side during that time is always nice.

Availability
Right now, I’m only house sitting and doing drop-in visits — my availability varies with my serving job. House sitting works great for me if you have a cat or a dog that requires potty breaks every 3-8 hours. When I’m not serving, I can do every 1-3 :) Occasionally, on weekends I may work 10 hour shifts but not always!
