Growing up, my father was allergic to both dogs and cats, so we often kept smaller pets in our house. I have taken care of small-dwarf hamsters to energetic bunnies within that segment. As I got older, I took the responsibility of watching after my neighbor's dogs and cats, whether it be taking them on walks or playing with them, as well as feeding them. I have never owned a larger animal such as a dog or cat, however, I understand their behavior and am more than comfortable being around them and supporting their needs.
