I am a Top Tier K9 Certified Pet and Working Dog Trainer, I have over 5 years of experience working with dogs and animals of all shapes and sizes with a lot of experience working with fearful, anxious, and aggressive dogs. I own a local training and pet sitting business called Emerald Isle Canine. I am currently going to school for a B.S. in Animal Behavior and Health. I will always set your dog up for success no matter their history. I also know canine CPR. In other words you will likely find few other Rover sitters as experienced and knowledgeable as me. I will make each walk and or sit a training session not only to make my job easier but to help you and your dog with your own peaceful cohabitation.

Ben has a remarkable presence with dogs. When a dog is around Ben they just seem to gravitate toward him and act like the best dog ever. Ben is able to transfer this to the owners during activities and lessons! Our dog just has the best time with Ben, is so well behaved, and when Ben leaves, actually a little sad to be just with his owners! As a certified and experienced trainer, we never have any worries about safety or Ben's responsibility with our buddy.
I have had two dogs trained by Ben Wolter, and the training has improved the quality of life for these dogs. His Top Tier K9 certification along with a patient and consistent approach allowed our dogs to respond to all commands and change their behavior effectively. They now are positively socialized, able to resist distractions, and respond to all commands. Ben is truly an accomplished trainer and able to train all kinds of dogs from puppies to rescue animals. Lakes, parks, dog parks (depending on the dogs that are already there). We will play with toys and do some easy engagement exercises for attention getting purposes.
