I have been in love with dogs since I was a child, cherishing every moment I spent playing, caring for, or hanging with them. It wasn’t until I left for college that my family decided to take on a new member: Ginger, a beautiful Labradoodle. I didn’t think it was possible to fall more in love with dogs, but every day I found myself eager to come back home and spend all my time with her. Moving out to college was hard, but I found that I could fill this gap in my heart by taking care of and finding other dogs to love. I took on my first official dog-watching gig last year, watching Brother the Bulldog from 8 AM to 5 PM with my girlfriend, and I am eager to explore more opportunities to meet new dogs in the Stanford area through Rover! I also have experience with house sitting, boarding, drop-in, and walking visits. I have limited experience with cats and have provided care to my neighbor’s cat on multiple occasions while they were on vacation. I am a master’s student at Stanford University and will have a very flexible schedule to check in, watch, or walk your dog since I will only be in 3 classes. This quarter my classes are on Mon. 3:30-5:20, Tues/Thurs. 8:30-9:20 AM, Wed. 3:00-6:20, and Fri 3:00-4:20. I also own a car and, therefore, should be readily available to attend to dogs at off-campus locations when not in class. I currently have a single dorm room (a room to myself) with ample space for a dog to run around, play, and nap. I also benefit from living on one of the best campuses for dogs with spacious fields, outdoor seating at multiple meet-up spots, and ankle-high fountains if they like to swim! I also respect others' spaces when I attend to dogs/cats in others' homes. I have experience house sitting and doing house visits and always try to minimize the footprint I leave: putting away all dog toys, remaking the beds I sleep in, picking up any trash, etc. I aim to not only provide care to your dogs or cats but also respect your demands as an owner.
