Pet care experience
I’m 36 and have never lived in a house without one kind of pet or another. Growing up, from the time I was born, there were no less than dogs in our home. Then, after college, I worked in a doggie daycare until I went off to hike the Appalachian Trail. Now, my partner and I live with five cats, two sugar gliders, a snake, a bearded dragon, a rabbit, and several parakeets. (We’ve had snails, mice, hamsters, and more!) There’s not a single type of animal that I won’t care for. (Check my photo gallery for proof!) I’m the go-to pet sitter for everyone I know.

Benjamin was fantastic! He was in contact with us every day to let us know what was going on at home. We had pictures and videos of our fur-babies. He spent time every day to play a little as well as feed and kept up with three litter boxes. He also cleaned up a couple of "accidents" and vacuumed the hair off the living room carpet before we came home. I highly recommend him for all of your pet sitting needs. We travel frequently and will be using him every time.
Great communication, and always treats my pets like his own!
Benjamin took excellent care of our cats and dog, and went the extra mile to make them happy and comfortable. I'll definitely be booking him again!

I was always taught that you leave a place better than you found it and I try to live by that maxim. I’m a bit of a “helicopter parent” with my own pets, and I can be even more of one when it comes to other people’s pets.

Please let me know how your dog does when meeting other dogs on walks. Let me know if there are any medical conditions (I’ve walked blind dogs, wormed sheep, administered subcutaneous shots, and given pills to all sorts of animals.) Oh! And please let me know if your doggo has a thing against men and/or beards!
A typical day
My favorite place to go on walks is in Glendale Cemetery or in parks/hiking trails. But I walk anywhere and everywhere! However, depending the service I’m providing, it’s usually great to just get to know your neighborhood. Long walks are my speciality. (I once hiked for 6 months!) I enjoy a good game of tug or giving pets on the couch- whichever your doggo loves!
