My name is Ben and I'm a lifelong dog lover! I'm a homeowner in Logan Circle with a flexible work schedule and not quite enough time to adopt my own dog. I only want to dog sit dogs at my home that I would treat as my own. I have a very large dog-friendly home, live two blocks from the great Shaw dog park on 11th and Q St, and I have the energy to keep up with any size dog. I can host your little Chihuaha or run your Vizla ragged at the dog park or on a run. I am a caring dog person and I don't use physical punishment ever with any pup in my care. I am patient and can take care of just about any dogs needs.

Amazing experience. Really could enjoy the trip away from home knowing Covey was being looked after so well. He had a blast and it was so thoughtful and appreciated to get photos throughout the stay to see my boy enjoying himself. Highly recommend Benjamin! Benjamin was fantastic for our first Rover overnight stay. We left our dog with Benjamin for 3 nights and were completely at ease as he provided photo and text updates throughout the weekend. When we came home our dog was worn out from playing in the park which made our Sunday extremely easy. Thank you Benjamin!
Benjamin was great! He took great care of Bonham, wore her out and sent pics throughout. She didn’t want to leave when we came to pick her up. Highly recommended.

I am pretty flexible on breed since my house is spacious. I do require a dog that is house trained and preferably crate trained. I cannot have frequent potty accidents in my home.
A typical day
I live in my recently purchased townhome near Logan Circle and would board your dog here. The area is a great dog walkers area with parks galore and the Shaw Dog Park which I find to be the best (cleanest, largest, most dogs) of any dog park in DC. I also like to go on runs with your dog if they are capable. I live near a number of vets on 14th street in case of emergency.
