Pet care experience
Always having a fascination with dogs I’ve always strived to help owners have better relationships with their dogs and gain as much knowledge as I can from other dog owners. After adopting my current dog as a rescue back in 2016 I began fostering dogs for the City of Buffalo Animal Shelter which peeked my interest in dog behavior and behavior modification so I’m willing to work with any type of dog regardless of age, size, or temperament. I’ve worked with several professional trainers and I am currently in the process of finishing my certification as an International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC) professional trainer.

Very happy with Ben! When I came home, Daisy was very happy and calm which tells me that she had was taken care of above and beyond expectations! I would definitely recommend Ben to anyone and I am very pleased I found someone that’s good with Daisy!
Ben is such a blessing to us. Our dog takes a while to warm up to new people and we have only had family watch her when we are gone. So we were pretty worried about finding a dog sitter when our whole family went on vacation to Tennessee. Ben was so patient with our dog and and let Quincy take her time and made her feel totally comfortable.
I would highly recommend Ben as a caretaker for any dog owner. For the past 3 years he’s been the first one I call when I need someone to look after my now 6 year old sheepdog. The nature of my job may require me to leave Daisy alone for 12+ hours some days and I feel so much more reassurance when I know Ben is watching her. He ensures that she gets plenty of exercise and more importantly is fed properly. He shows the same affection towards any dogs in the neighborhood as he does with his own.

A typical day
I’m open to training exercises and games since most dogs find it mentally stimulating and it also provides a challenge for me. To burn off energy I love going on hikes, long walks, or to the local dog parks.

Availability
I work 6-8 hour shifts in the evenings on the weekdays so if you have a 9-5 job that requires your dog to be at home for more than 7-8 hours during the daytime I think we would make a great fit.
