I have often taken care of pets for neighbours, friends and family. I love Dogs and they love me! I grew up helping to care for horses too, which is where my love for animals began.

Benjamin was great with April! They accepted a last minute booking for the holiday and welcomed April. Would recommend. Asked all the questions to make her stay comfortable and she was pampered.

Ben is wonderful with dogs and humans. My chocolate lab was always over the moon to see Ben and I trust him with his safety and well-being. My home (2 bedroom apartment on main level of a converted home) is located in a quiet neighbourhood with many green spaces and off leash parks a short distance away. We like to get out for several walks a day and dogs always have complete freedom within our home to make themselves comfortable. Of course, we also want to respect your rules for being allowed on furniture and beds or around the kitchen and table during meal times as well.

Please let me know ahead of time if your dog has any specific needs or and preferences while on walks. I’d like to know how good your dogs recall is and if they have any issues with other dogs or specific breeds of dogs.
A typical day
I love to allow your dog to take their time and explore the world through their nose while we walk. I consider those walks to be their time and want them to use it to its fullest. I love finding nice wooded trails but I’m open to your suggestions. Eventually, if the dog and I are a good fit and we become good enough buds, I’d love to take them to an off leash park so they can make new dog pals or on off leash trails where they can fully explore their surroundings.

I am self-employed and often work from home. On these days, I am able to provide constant care and attention for your pet. My partner also works from home full time and helps on days when I can’t be here. Together, we make a great team.
