Pet care experience
I have taken care of dogs and other pets (mostly dogs though) for several years, having grown up with one ever since I was 10 years old. My love for animals and fun/energetic spirit also led to me being the go-to guy to look after, walk, and house sit pets for our friends and family throughout the years. When I moved to Brooklyn in 2018, I put this passion into practice and volunteered for the Badass Brooklyn Animal Rescue, where I was trained in the handling of dogs so that I could be a handler for adoption events. I now look forward to bringing my experience and attitude to communities here in Seattle!

No matter the setting, when I am caring for another family's animals and/or home, I focus on maintaining a responsible, safe, and clean environment while providing energy and support as needed. In practical terms, I like to stay up and active outside to give our friends the exercise, stimulation, and movement they need while also recognizing the good behaviors we want to support. I also adjust these activities based on the age, abilities, temperament, and any other important areas of focus so that I am providing the best possible care for each individual animal and family as needed.

Availability
I work part-time as an Outdoor Experiences Guide with REI and tend to have my shifts scheduled from Thurs - Sunday. This gives me plenty of time during weekdays when I can provide my energy and attention to taking care of your doggos as I like to stay as active and outdoors as I can!
