On more than one occasion I've been told if I was a dog and not a human, I'd be a Golden Retriever. Much like the Golden I am nice to strangers and well mannered, yet still playful and energetic. I'd be thrilled to give your dog belly rubs and snuggles, and I'd also be just as excited to run around and wear the both of us out. Unfortunately I did not have dogs when I was growing up due to family allergies. However, that changed promptly once I arrived to college back in 2010, and I've had a dog (or three) in my house since then. I have been around very small dogs as well has large dogs, and I love them all. I haven't met a dog that I didn't think was cute, and I continue to appreciate each and every one of them. I have loved and cared for my adopted dogs unconditionally, but have also been the go-to-guy to watch my brother's, friends', and colleague's dogs. I am patient with them and try to chat with them as if they are a human child. They certainly don't understand everything I'm saying, but when they tilt their heads one way or raise their eyebrows you can tell they are engaged and curious. I can't wait to meet your furry friend!
