Hi, thank you for reading my profile! I am a certified dog walker with first aid and CPR training through Dog*Biz (formerly Dog*Tec). I have been a dog owner since I was 12 years old and have lived with and trained dogs for the last 20 years of my adult life. I have experience working and living with different breeds of dogs which has further enhanced my understanding of a dogs needs regardless of breed or size. I have direct experience with working breeds and love engaging with their sharp focused minds. My dog training experience (and my 16 month old Chihuahua/Terrier) have also given me a keen knowledge of the specific needs of small dogs and small dog owners; if interested I would love to help you and your small dog achieve your training goals. I believe that exercise and love are the key to a happy dog, and are crucial components to creating a fulfilling relationship with their owner/parent. I highly recommend Benicia as a dog walker. She is active and engages fully in her dog walks, learns the dogs and owners names and goes out of her way to make the walk a positive experience for the dogs. She gives detailed notes for the pet families and loves to see the same dogs regularly so she can form trustworthy relationships with her clients. I trust my dogs with Benicia for walks and long term care; it makes me feel more relaxed to know my best friends are well cared for when I can’t do it myself.

A typical day
Overnight stays will include a minimum of two 30+ minute walks a day in the quiet neighborhood of Redwood Heights or on the trails of Redwood Regional State Park. I have a 1,200 square foot fenced backyard, providing lots of outdoor stimulation and potty time throughout the day.
