Pet care experience
I’m Ben and I became inspired to become a pet sitter out of my love for dogs! I’m self employed and can often work from home so it’s really a perfect arrangement. I was a dog sitter throughout college and made some really powerful bonds with amazing people and pups. I look forward to continuing to create wonderful relationships with new furry friends and their families. Growing up, my family always had animals. Our family dog is a 12 year old Yellow Lab who still acts like a spring chicken! Throughout college, I took care of two wonderful dogs named Lucy and Pickle. Pickle was an old handicapped Pit Bull with many dietary restrictions and Lucy was a Mastiff who thought she was a baby cat. I would be happy to care for any pups who need a little extra attention! I understand how hard it is to be away from your fur baby so prompt responses and clear communication are to expected from me. Nothing is better than knowing you can count on a caregiver to be there when you need a little extra help. I also love to send images and updates of you pooch periodically so that you can continually see that they are in good hands. For the pup, I'll love them like my own, of course! Giving them love, ample time outdoors, and offering a consistent routine they can rely on are tenants of my care. I live in a house in Silver Lake with a large, gated play area in my backyard. The neighborhood is family friendly and filled with dogs! There is also a dog park up the street, where your dog can run freely with other pups. My home itself is super cozy and spacious, with lots of spots for your pup to cuddle up for nap time. I live with two professional roommates, but I will be providing all care to your pets. When I’m not pet sitting, I spend my time as a music composer. I’m pretty early into my career so taking care of pups on the side couldn’t be more perfect! I’m the happiest when I’m immersed in nature. It’s not everyday that I get the chance but I try to make time to visit parks and prairies. Having your dog visit my home will make getting out into nature a priority!

This was my first time using Ben as sitter for Enzo, but it is definetely not the last time. Ben took good care of Enzo for 3 nights in my appartment and send me pictures and videos everyday.
Ben was super attentive and flexible when Pancho stayed with him for a night. He even picked him up and dropped him off due to my crazy flight schedule! I love that Pancho got to pal around with him as he went into his studio and other places. He even offered to come back and let him out again should my flight get delayed. So awesome.
Ben stayed with our dog, Como, for a week and we couldn't be happier to have such a great dogsitter. Ben often works from home so he spent a lot of time with our dog and even drove him to the dog park. It was great knowing that Como wasn't spending a lot of time in the crate and was getting plenty of attention! We will definitely use Ben in the future for housesitting or just dog walking.
Ben watched my 4 pound Yorkie that I recently adopted and I felt completely at ease leaving him in Bens care. He was very attentive and took him to work with him to play with another dog, made sure he eat his food and was given lots of attention. I highly recommend Ben to watch your dog especially ones that need special care or recently adopted.

I’m a film composer and I work out of a studio close to home so if it’s okay with you, I’d bring your pup to the studio with me. Your pup would get to relax in a cozy space and spend some time with a sweet Corgi who also frequents my workplace. Whatever your pup needs for a safe and happy stay, I’ll provide it!
