Pet care experience
I’ve always lived with and taken care of a variety of pets. From guinea pigs and dogs to more exotic pets like reptiles and chickens, I have raised and nurtured anything you can think of. I regularly care for our seven pets when my parents are away for the weekend and I have taken care of our neighbour’s pets in the past. I have seen my pets through many injuries and illnesses and have plenty of experience administering medicine orally.

Overnight Stays: My overnight stays will consist of 3-4 drop-in visits throughout the day as well as an overnight stay. Drop-in Visits: My drop-in visits will consist of first giving the dog a big greeting filled with hugs and pets. I'll feed them if it's their meal time and then we'll head into the garden for some exercise. We'll play their favourite game until they are all tuckered out. Before leaving I will always leave them a full bowl of water. Walking: Going on a walk is the highlight of most dogs' days. My walks will typically be 30+ minute walks. Walk times may be shortened due to age or size. Let me know what you think your pup can manage. If we are close enough, we may even go to a friendly dog beach I know of. This will only be done with express permission and based on the obedience of the dog. If your dog enjoys running I am happy to take them on a run instead. Let me know if you think your dog would enjoy/can do this instead. Extra Services: Who doesn't love coming home to a super soft, good-smelling, well-groomed pet at the end of their holiday? I am happy to bathe, brush the full coat, or trim the nails of your babies before you get back.

Everyone cares for their pets differently so give me as much information as you can. Its important to not break their schedule while you are away to avoid unnecessarily stressing your babies out. Feeding: Let me know when and how much to feed your pets. Walking: Let me know if you think a 30 minute walk is too much for your pet. Also let me know if you think your dog would prefer to go on a run instead. Grooming: Let me know ahead of time of any additional services such as bathing or brushing you’d like done during drop in visits or overnight stays.
A typical day
Every day starts with breakfast followed by a long walk no matter the weather. After the walk, everyone gets a milk bone. Throughout the day everyone has free access to the garden for play and potty breaks. After dinner, we all begin to settle down for the evening.
