We are a family who loves dogs but we’re too chicken to get one because we are always going places and dogs are hard. We have two girls age 7 and 11 and we want to teach them how to care for animals and how much responsibility they are. This may backfire on us as I’m sure we will love the dogs and eventually get talked into getting one of our own. Currently our lifestyle is very flexible as we are both self employed with flexible hours and both of us work from home quite a bit. This is a great way to have a dog on our schedule when we are available. We’re doing this to get a dog fix without having to own one!
