We grew up with dogs where they have always been around us. They absolutely form part of the family and our little boy, Biscuit, is no exception to that. We've looked after, and walked our neighbours dog when she is away and done the same for family many a time. There is plenty of play time as well as walks to the park every day with Biscuit (our rescue boy). Biscuit absolutely loves having friends to play with so your little furry friend will be in great hands. One of us works from home so is able to look after another dog during the day and we're both home nights. We go for a walk at least once a day and there is plenty of play time in between (including with the very gentle little Biscuit). Our dog is free to roam around the house, and so would yours as long as they are house trained. If it is preferable they are in a crate, and still having puppy naps, that is fine too as we've got one if needed. We have a decent sized private garden which your furry friend can spend plenty of time running around in when it's dry and warm enough.
