Pet care experience
I have grown up around animals my whole life. I had a German Shorthaired Pointer growing up who kept me plenty busy with his high energy level. These days, I spend as much time as I can hanging around pets of my friends and family. As a former D1 Track Athlete who used to run 100 miles a week, I am very energetic and can keep up with any rambunctious pup or playful cat.

Ben has been great with animals since I met him 12 years ago. He had a dog at home who he raised and trained to be one of the most well-behaved dogs I’ve met. Ben was very passionate towards his dog, and kept it as his screen saver for years after its passing. Whenever Ben visits my place, the first thing he does is lay on the floor and let my dog lick his face. Truly a remarkable soul, Ben will be perfect for taking care of pets.
Ben is reliable, trustworthy and a huge dog lover. Ben is an active guy (previous Division 1 distance runner) who enjoys being outside. He gives our dogs more exercise and playing time than we ever do. I am guaranteed that our dogs will be tired happy pups while we are away. In fact, I think they look forward to us leaving so they can see Ben.

One of the most important things I like to know early on is whether or not your pet is prone to running away. This type of behavior helps me determine how I will manage entering and exiting your home as well as how to best manage your pet on walks.
A typical day
I love to play classics such as catch and tug of war. I am also willing to incorporated more intellectually challenging games/activities into my routine with dogs who may benefit from this type of stimulus.

I recently graduated from grad school and started a new job in cybersecurity. Due to the hybrid nature of my job I am generally able to manage my own schedule and incorporate time for my love of pets!
