I can't remember a time when I haven’t had a dog as part of my family. I have grown up with a wide range of dogs throughout my life and love their individual characters and personalities. My wife is the same, between us we have had a Collie, Golden Retriever, Jack Russell, Springer cross Collie and a Bernese Mountain dog. At this point in our lives me and my wife, both dog lovers, cannot keep our own dog full time as I am a teacher and she is a nurse and we both work full time. However, after finding this sight it is now allowing us to care for dogs during our free time, which being a teacher, I do have most weekends, evenings and holidays to do so. We frequently look after our parents’ dogs and take them for lovely walks using the vast amounts of countryside on our doorstep as well as traveling slightly further afield to access a wider range of walks. We have a lovely dog friendly house with easy to clean floors for after those mucky walks and a comfy dog bed with blankets ready to go.
