I have extensive experience with both small and large dogs, caring for both great danes and mini bernedoodles. I grew up with two cats and two golden retrievers. My love for animals was my defining personality trait as a kid. I volunteered at The Naples Humane Society about 8 hours a week, caring for every kind of dog and cat you can imagine. I can read a dog’s and cat’s body language very easily and know when they need something. Entering high school, my parents made my dream come true, gifting me a 3 month old puppy of my own. In addition to the pup, I had two fish tanks, a tortoise, a terrarium of poison dart frogs, and hamsters that were all my full responsibility. I remember being so protective of them all. As I got older, I knew I wanted to work with animals. I originally was on course to major in zoology at the University of Florida in hopes of becoming a wildlife vet. When I came to the tough realization that being a vet means constantly seeing animals in pain, I switched my degree. I now work as a freelance photographer and currently have no pets of my own, so I cherish the time I have with others furry friends.
