Never Met An Animal I Didn't Like
Pet care experience
I've had animals in my life as long as I can remember. My parents were big Dobermann rescue fans and I became accustomed to large dogs early on. It wasn't until I took care of a three-legged Chihuahau named Ingmar that I fell for smaller breeds. These days I'm a sucker for pretty much any pup I meet.

thank you so much ben! huck and i are so happy you could spend time with him ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Ben is the best. He’s so patient with my dog who is nervous around strangers. He knows the right body language to use and how to care for dogs so well. He’s also incredibly responsive and takes lots of pictures. I’m grateful for him!
Ben is a great communicator when my dog was anxious and apprehensive. He was very good with taking his time so things could settle down and enough trust was built so they could go on a walk.
This was the first time Ben had house sat for me. He was excellent! Extremely communicative and very aware of anything that seemed off. He sent pictures that absolutely put me at ease and even put a smile on my face to know my dogs were taken care of and their routine was not disrupted. Couldn’t recommend more and will certainly utilize his services in the future!

Safety, trust & environment
I treat all animals no differently than I would our own. I take our little fur baby Colby out three times a day for at least 30 minutes and play with him on and off all day long.

Information Ben B. would like to know about your pet
Anything big or small. Obviously special needs and behavioral specifics are important but so is knowing that a dog prefers scratching behind the ears or toys that squeak.
A typical day
I like playing fetch, tug of war and I have extensive experience with flirt poles and saliva-drenched Kongs. While I always prefer to stick to areas my canine client is comfortable with, I live in Crown Heights and I love walking dogs in my neighborhood. Brower Park and Dr. Ronald McNair Park are both great places to roam and socialize with other dogs, and for longer outings Prospect Park is a real buffet for the senses.

Availability
I work as a freelance video editor and can make my own schedule, so I'm able work around a client's needs. Pet care is also a welcome break from staring at a screen for hours on end.
