Pet care experience
I'm a 27 year old student, living in Wrexham. I have grown up around dogs, and have experience handling dogs of various sizes and temperaments including: Border Collies, Labradors, Shih Tzu's, and Pomeranians. I'm finding myself with more free time than anticipated, and miss having the company of a dog with me; to walk with, relax with, and just enjoy life with. I don't drive, but I'm happy to come and collect your dog provided I can travel to you, and I'm happy to walk up to Erddig and Belle Vue to walk your dog :) I enjoy walking very much, and I'd be happy to go on short jogs with a dog depending on their exercise requirements. I have a valid DBS check (as of January 2023), and I'm happy to provide photos, videos and updates of your dog/cat.

Ben is just brilliant! He was so kind, and gentle with my little pup Dobby. He was thoughtful and attentive and quickly developed a rapport with Dobby.As a very anxious new pup owner Ben gave me the reassurances I needed that Dobby was in safe hands while I worked. Throughout the day Ben sent photos and updates which were so appreciated. A very genuine and sincere dog lover. I can't recommend Ben enough and hope that Dobby is lucky enough to spend some time with Ben again. Thank you Ben.
I could not thank Ben enough for taking care of Foxy and highly recommend using his services. This was a last minute request as let down by another dog day care provider. He is very polite and took good care of our dog can’t thank you enough.
Ben was fantastic with my anxious dog - he took the time to ask about his preferences and habits, and he gave him plenty of exercise - physical and mental - to wear down that collie energy! I came back to a very happy tired dog. Absolute gold star dog boarding service.

Sadly I have no pets living with me at the moment, though this may be a good thing for certain dogs anyway. I have no children either, and I live alone. Due to the nature of my part time work, I have a DBS check, and can produce it if required :) I live in a first floor flat in the centre of Wrexham, with a shared courtyard. I'm happy to walk as far as needed (depending on the individual needs of each pet).

I'd like to know when you're dog usually has their meals, and just what they like in general, and any situations they'd rather avoid if there's anything that will make them stressed or anxious; obviously I want them to be as happy as they can be for the duration of their time with me :)
A typical day
Alongside walks, I'm happy to provide basic training to dogs, such as teaching them to sit, stay, look, lay down, etc. I can facilitate basic scent work with them, and play tug, fetch, etc :)

Availability
I'm currently working part time, and so I have plenty of free time. My schedule does vary, though I am usually free every day excluding Wednesday and Friday of each week.
