We were very impressed with Bella when we did a meet and greet. I asked her specific questions about her schedule and how much time she would be able to spend at the house. She had great reviews so we felt comfortable hiring her to stay at our home with our two dogs. Unfortunately, Bella did not deliver the services she agreed to. She was supposed to stay at our house at night and walk the dogs every day. We have evidence that she did not stay at the house most nights, if at all, and we do not believe she walked the dogs. We have a security camera directed at our driveway that sends alerts when there is activity and could see that Bella only came for short periods of time in the morning to feed them and let them out, in the middle of the day to let them out (we did not see any activity in the driveway to indicate she was walking the dogs), late afternoon to feed, and sometime in the evening to let them out. The total time spent with the dogs each day was less than an hour. Our dogs went as long as 12 hours overnight with no one with them for company or to let them out. My sister came to stay with the dogs during the two weekends we were away and she found pee and poop in one of the bedrooms. After our first night away when we discovered that she did not spend the night. I called Bella after she sent her morning update and told her we could see from the security camera that she did not stay at the house with the dogs as agreed. I told her that if she could not spend some time at the house with the dogs and stay overnight to please let me know right then so I could make other arrangements. She said could do that so I gave her the benefit of the doubt and thought that the fact that we could detect activity in the driveway would be enough to ensure that she followed through. The next few nights we did a quick check on the evening driveway alerts (the camera detects any activity, even an animal running by) and we saw that her car was there. We relaxed a bit and tried to enjoy our vacation. On the last night that Bella was supposed to be staying at the house, she sent a late evening update and my husband hadn't received any alerts about activity in the driveway. I sent Bella text and asked if she was at the house. She replied that she just had been at the house but had gone out to dinner. We did a more thorough check of the alerts and there had been no activity since 3:00 that afternoon. I sent her another text and asked her to let me know if she was not able to spend the night at the house and I would have my sister go. This was her reply: "Excuse me? I was obviously going to come back after dinner. I just stopped in to let the pups out but your keys are on the counter. Your sister can come for the night. Nice doing business with you." After that, we started going back through the driveway activity alerts to see how much time she actually spent at the house. We could only go back seven days but we discovered that on at least one occasion she went as far as leaving her car at our house overnight so we would think she was there because we saw headlights coming down the road to our house at 6:30 am and stop about 200 yards away and then we saw Bella walking to the house and then leaving in her car 10 minutes later. The remaining nights she was supposed to be there she just came in the evening to let them out and left again. We know for a fact that she did not stay at the house 6 out of the 8 nights she was supposed to be there and if we had checked before the data was lost I am sure we would have seen that she did not stay there at all. Needless to say, I will never be using Bella again. It is really a shame, I had told several friends about her before we went away and they were all interested in meeting her for future dog sitting.
