Pet care experience
From ages 14-21 I was the neighborhood petsitter and dog walker, I have sit for approximately 50 families over this period. I grew up with dogs my whole life and have experience with rescue dogs who may need a little extra tlc.

Super oppas! Onze Franse bulldog heeft een heel fijne tijd gehad bij Bella. Bella is heel leuk met honden en stuur af en toe een foto van haar logee. Ze was ook erg flexibel in het wijzigen van de ophaal tijd. Echt een aanrader, wij komen zeker terug als we weer een oppas nodig hebben.
Highly recommend Bella and Tom's dog sitting services! Bella is friendly and communicative and responsive to the guidelines according to Mabel's care. For example, I prefer for Mabel to sleep in the bench at night, just like at home. Bella took the time and patience to let Mabel settle in at her place. Mabel had a very nice 11 day/night stay at Bella and Tom's home. Thank you!
Bella will care for your pets as if they were her own, she has great attention to detail and is a natural caregiver. She is experienced in caring for all kinds of animals and will take great care of your pet.

I live with my boyfriend who is very kind, quiet and gentle but very tall so this might startle some tinier pets if they are not used to tall men, he works 7-4 as a timmerman so he is gone for most of the day. I allow pets on all furniture, I believe that living in smaller spaces already limits their world so much. I would rather not contribute to those constrictions, I live in a residential area very near to many parks and walking trails and so I have an abundance of exciting experiences to introduce the lovely pet to.

If your dog has issues with men, we will be unfortunately not compatible due to my partner sharing my apartment. I also will not take aggressive dogs or dogs that are not house-trained.
A typical day
For dog walking I have lots of options, I live next to the canal which has walking paths with grassy areas on both sides. I also live about a 20 min walk to a goat pasture which some doggies love to go and watch them. On the other side I live a 5 min walk to a wooded walking trail and another 10 min walk to a large recreational park. If the dog is well-trained we can go to the fields and play fetch or just run around. If the dog is more high-energy we can go on a run!

Availability
I have class Mondays 16:00-20:00 and Friday 12:00-16:00, otherwise I am home and available to spend quality time with the animal whether that be playing indoor/outdoor, walks, or simply cuddles.
