I've grown up with dogs and cats all of my life. I currently own one dog and one cat. My dog had knee surgery the first year I got her, so I've learned a bit about how to take care of a dog with special requirements.

There is a large fenced yard with plenty of grass to run around. The neighborhood is quiet. There is a crate and inside gated playpen area for pups as needed. If needed, the backseat of my car has a dog hammock to transport animals from place to place comfortably.

A typical day
I enjoy taking my dog on walks around the neighborhood and local parks. When it is hot outside, we play mental stimulation games indoors or learn new tricks. At sunset, we will run around the backyard, and play with bubbles. or chase the hose. For snacks, I feed my dog whole veggies and fruits, Zuke's training treats, and the occasional piece of cheese.

Availability
I'm a premedical student currently working part-time. My shifts are no longer than 6 hours. I wake up early and can help with walking in the mornings. I tend to be home during my days off to give my pup adequate attention. I love to walk at Kiwani's and Vista del Camino parks when the weather gets cooler.
