Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for 15+ years for family and friends. I recently got a kitten that is the bravest little thing and matches the energy of my dog Keto. While I don’t have much house space or a back yard, the apartment complex does have a fully fenced dog yard and plenty of trails to go for leashed walks. I do use both reward based training and clicker training for my dog. I love dogs and often take care of friends’ dogs on a weekly basis. I’m also self proclaimed addicted to taking pictures of pets- so ready yourself for multiple photos and updates of your baby while away.
Reviews
Becky was amazing! This was our first time using Rover and she made it such a great experience. Our dog can be shy and timid in new circumstances and she was super patient with him. She made sure to send frequent updates, pictures and videos of what Goose had been up to and the fun things they did together. I would definitely recommend Becky!
Becky is the absolute best. We feel so safe leaving our dog with her. Thanks for everything Becky!

Safety, trust & environment
In my home any training/reinforcement is positive and reward based. I believe that a tired dog is a good dog so we do lots of activities for both physical and mental stimulation. Anytime I’m watching your dog I try to use the same commands/expectations you would use at home for easier recall. Depending on length of stay I will happily work on any training or tricks, I have access to some basic agility courses as well as a professional dog bathing station.

Information Becky W. would like to know about your pet
I do require a meet and greet prior to boarding to make sure your dog meshes well with mine and that everyone is comfortable. I am comfortable with pet medications but I need any pet allergies and “naughty” behaviors- I need to know if your dog is toy or food possessive or a runner so I can properly prepare. Still happy to watch and love those fur babies, I just need the heads up so everyone stays safe. Due to a recent bad experience with a dog where owner did NOT disclose information ahead of time regarding extreme destructive separation anxiety- if you are headed to a location with inconsistent internet connection- I will require an emergency contact as well as preferred vet that knows your pet/ records. This is for both your pet’s safety as well as my own. I’ve worked with plenty of anxious dogs but that is useless if you fail to disclose past issues.
A typical day
Typical dog days in my house include everything from indoor play with toys/puzzles, training, or longer times spent outdoors either on long walks in the nearby neighborhood with all the sniffs or in the fully fenced dog park just outside my door.

Availability
I work weekdays 4-6hrs Monday-Friday. Weekends are usually dedicated to either doggy adventure or cuddles and incentive puzzles. My dog is anxious around strangers so I do a lot of calm reinforcement training in dog friendly stores like PetSmart or farmer’s markets when in season.
