Pet care experience
I have loved and helped care for animals since my family got a dog 9 years ago:) I currently live with and help care for an active golden doodle, and have lived with/cared for a small senior dog as well. I have been active on Rover for 2.5 years, and have experience with administering medication—including insulin, oral medication, and topical medication—for both cats and dogs. I have experience with pets of a variety of sizes, ages, energy levels, and medical needs, and am happy to provide walks, drop-in visits, and occasionally home stays.

I always appreciate knowing in advance about any commands, habits, or rules that you and your pet may have! If your pet enjoys attention or prefers to be left alone, is reactive on leash, has any areas they do/don’t like to be pet, etc. that is also useful to know.
A typical day
I love to go for long walks, visit dog parks, and just spend time hanging out with pets who enjoy company. I'm most familiar with parks and walking paths in the Dupont/U Street/Columbia Heights areas.

I work full-time in a hybrid office environment, so I am typically available on weekends, weekday evenings, and occasionally weekdays during the day. Occasionally available for weekend overnight stays as well.
