I am a former animal control officer and I have worked in veterinary clinics in the past. I have worked with reptiles, exotics and small mammals as well as birds. I have titled dogs in rally and continue to train in rally, barn hunt and for service dog work. One of my current dogs that I trained is a former wildlife nuisance control dog, former therapy dog and although retired still competes in performance sports. I also have cats, all of whom are rescues or adopted. I currently have chickens and ducks. I have a BA in Animal sciences from Washington State University and was also a member of the Raptor Rehabilitation Club while I was there. I have always lived with cats and dogs as well as having owned "Pocket pets" (gerbils, hamsters, rats, guinea pigs, etc) in the past. I have also cared for horses and other large livestock so size does not intimidate me.
